When I was younger my mother sat me in front of the television. She introduced me to the most ideal father a little girl ever wanted. Of course I had my own father to love and care for, but Michael Landon was the father of the year in my eyes. As I grew older I learned that he was also the man behind the curtain for Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven. I have always felt that he was a very intriguing man to know. He took acting seriously and had fun with it at the same time. He is the reason Little House on the Prairie worked as a television show. The casting couldn't have been perfected without him overseeing every small detail. He is the rock and foundation I build myself on. Without his cinematic beauty this world would be based on a heartless shell. He's based himself on goodness and wellness. I have seen not only the perfect father in my eyes, but I've viewed a genius beyond his years. This world is a better place with him in it than without him, regardless of the personal hardships he endured in life. Michael Landon is a man to love and cherish in any decade. I thank the entire Landon family, without you there wouldn't be a Little House to inspire to.

I grew up watching Michael Landon. As a child, I watched Bonanza and Little House, then as a teenager I watched Highway to Heaven. As an adult, I get to watch reruns of all three now with my children. These shows have made a big impact on my life. I have always had a special place in my heart for Michael Landon. I have always thought his character on Little House and Highway to Heaven should be a role model to every man. These shows influenced my moral character and influenced me spiritually as well. I encourage my children to watch these shows hoping they will make an impact on their lives as well. And I will be able to share them with my grandchildren as well. I was asked one time who is the one person you would like to meet. I thought about that question and thought of Michael Landon. I do think other than Jesus, he is the one person in Heaven that I would like to meet!

I really think he's an incredible man. He had good feelings since he produced such successful shows. He's still in my heart. I admire him so much.
